Dutch Tulips

Max went to visit his grandparents in Holland last week and since we are learning all about his home country, he brought some tulips from Holland for us to plant in class.  Today, we planted these tulips and are keeping our fingers crossed that they will grow.  The children thoroughly enjoyed the planting session and had the opportunity to pass the tulip bulbs around to get a close view of them and see what they felt like in their hands.  Ms Nathalie, who has the green fingers of the class, showed the children how to put the soil in the pots and how to place the bulbs inside.  You can see the photos of the session below.  I would like to thank Max and his family for their kindness and for giving us the opportunity to have such an interesting session.
